Recommended books about the mitzvot of the Land of Israel

Question

I am aware that the oral Torah as it applies to the Land is not the same as what developed in the galut. I’m searching for a text that, as do the Mishnah Torah and Shulchan Aruch, gathers together in one text all of the mizvot and halachot appropriate for the Land. This would include the topics other than agriculture. Can you please give me the name and ordering information for this text?

Answer

Shoshan Raiz

Are you interested in works in Hebrew? Or only in English.  Pe'at Hashulchan deals extensively with the mitzvot hateluyot ba'aretz (in Hebrew). The Chazon Ish does, as well, and his works on the various mitzvot can be found in Otzar Hachochma. We do have a book covering most of the relevant ones today, but it is not in print (in Hebrew - it's called Hilchot Ha'aretz). We are working on updating it now, and will reprint when it is finished. We have begun translating it, though.

Currently, what we have available in English are two books: one about Orlah and one about Shemitah.

We do have a lovely booklet that talks about all of the mitzvot in a user-friendly format, which is very concise, called The Mitzvot of the Land in a Nutshell. It is available for download or purchase on our website as well.
