Paper napkins that absorbed drops of fruit kedushat shevi'it
Question
I purchased a peach that is otzar beit din, shemitah produce. It is very juicy, if I wipe the drops with a paper napkin/towel, how do I treat the paper napkin that absorbed the juice drops?
Answer
Rabbi Moshe Bloom
These drops are tiny and are not important or significant. Just like on regular years you wouldn't try to squeeze out the paper towels to retrieve these drops you don't have to do so now. You don't need to store the paper towels in a shemitah bin; They can be disposed as usual.
If there is a significant amount of juice collected on a plate, it is best to drink it.
